Golfers compete at Turtle Hill

MUENSTER — Various local schools competed in the Sacred Heart Invitational golf tournament Tuesday at Turtle Hill Golf Course in Muenster.

In the boys division, it was the Calliburg Wildcats who came out on top with a combined score of 363. Bobby Dorman and Kevin Bartley each fired an 88 while Justin Sykes finished with a 91 and Patrick Nolan with a 96. Langston Jones finished with a score of 102.

Lindsay’s A team tied with Sacred Heart with a total score of 384.

Jacob Hall led the way for the Knights with an 89 while Ian Barnhill finished at the top for Sacred Heart with a 91.

Austin Springer fired a 95 while Kevin Kulle finished just behind him with a 96 for Sacred Heart. For Lindsay, Blake Hunter was second on the team with a 94 while Dax Fleitman shot a 97.

Rounding out the scores for Lindsay’s A team were Jordan Lane with a 104 and Cole Hunter with a 106.

For Sacred Heart, John Krawietz fired a 102 and Jae Kook Im carded a 109.

The rest of the boys results are as follows: Lindsay B: Madison Parkhill, 99; Chris Klement, 102; Dawson Holt, 104; Drew Cooney: 113; Austin Reiter, 115; Lindsay C: Cody Thurman, 112; Neely Rose, 114; Darryl Block, 118; Dylan Hughes, 118; Chris Bell, 120; Callisburg: Andrew Dickerson, 104; Ryan Hart, 105; Sacred Heart: Clay Hogan, 105; Austin Miller, 114; Isaac Barnhill, 114.

In the girls division, Sacred Heart finished first with a combined score of 452.

Shelbye Ratliff led the way with a 113, Elizabeth Turner followed suit with a 119 and Devan Henry and Lindsay Miller each fired a 120.

Sarah Miller carded a 121 for the Tigerettes while Madison Dugger finished with a 122.

For Lindsay, Taylor Stringfellow led the way for the Lady Knights with a 109, Anna Hogan finished with a 111 and Haley Haverkamp fired a 113.
