Muenster (16-7, 2-2 district) led 18-17 at halftime before Windthorst tied the game at 27-27 going into the fourth quarter.

Porter wasn’t finished though, as he hit the game-winning 3-pointer with five seconds left in overtime.

“Scott Porter came up huge late in the game,” Muenster Coach Courtney Christenson said. “Tyler Anderle was also a very big part of the game, assuming the point guard role for Jason Luke who did not make the trip due to illness. This was a great win for the program in a very tough environment. The celebration was a great feeling.”
