BRIDGEPORT — The Muenster Lady Hornets Friday coasted to a 50-13 win over Paradise in the Bridgeport Tournament.
Muenster’s defense held Paradise to just 4 points in the second half to help lead the rout.
The Lady Hornets led 13-5 after the first quarter and 32-9 at the half.
Taylor Klement led the team in scoring with 14 points while Shaina Felderhoff finished with 10.
Jackie Klement scored 9 points, Demi Koelzer added 6 while Lana Heers scored 5 points and Lia Heers, Allison Pagel and Emily Hellman each finished with 2.
Lady Knights win in first round
MADILL, Okla. — The Lindsay Lady Knights had five players in double-digits, including Cammi Neu who led the team with 13 points, in a 60-50 win over Madill, Okla., in Friday’s opening round of the Madill Tournament.
Lindsay (5-2) also got contributions from Kristin Martin who finished with 12 points and 5 rebounds and Megan Caillier and Jessica Block who each added 11 points.
Neu finished with 6 rebounds and 7 steals in the game as well. Katie Dieter finished with a double-double, scoring 10 points while hauling in 11 rebounds. Allison Metzler finished with 6 rebounds and 3 steals while Katie Nortman scored 3 points.
