Wolzen is mortgage lending vice president at First State Bank

Gainesville — First State Bank is happy to announce that Barry Wolzen has been named Vice President of Mortgage Lending. With 16 years of experience and a degree in mortgage lending, the Era resident will be a valuable asset to First State Bank customers. Barry will be running the bank’s new Cooke County mortgage division, located at the North Texas Branch on 808 E. Highway 82 in Gainesville. He and his team can also assist customers at any of the nine First State Bank locations in Muenster, Saint Jo, Lake Kiowa, Valley View, Gainesville, and Denton.

The new First State Bank Mortgage Division provides customized loans to fit each customer’s unique needs with an array of mortgage lending services including Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, Jumbo, and Home Equity Loans. They also offer online home loan applications, a fast and easy digital closing process, and Mortgage Rate Watch to alert customers when a rate has reached a specified goal.

Barry grew up in Trophy Club and resided in that area until moving to Cooke County in 2006. He and his wife Deadre, a nurse at NTMC, have been married for 23 years and have two children.
