— Friday’s full moon was actually golden in color as it rose over Cooke County at dusk. However, folklore defines the second full moon in a calendar month as a blue moon. In August we had full moons on the first and last days of the month. Friday’s blue moon will be the only one this year. In fact, the blue moon occurs only once in approximately 2.7 years. We won’t see another one until July 31, 2015.
