Cooke County —
The chief suspect in a June murder case in Gainesville has joined the most recent slate of Cooke County Grand Jury indictments.
Juan Manuel Rodriguez-Olivas has been indicted on one first-degree felony count of murder in the stabbing death of Linda Barrett, 22, on June 15.
As reported in late June, officers received information from an individual concerning the death of an unknown female — one said to be located inside a residence on Truelove Street. Officers responded to the area and located a possible suspect. This investigation led to the discovery of a deceased white female inside a residence, later identified as Barrett. Olivas, who was age 30 at the time of the investigation, was arrested in connection with her murder.
Other recent indictments:
Perry Lake Johnston was indicted for theft of property, an amount between $1,500 and $20,000.
Jeffery Kinsey was indicted for credit/debit card abuse.
Michael Lynn Kirk was indicted for assault of a family or household member.
Robert Ryan Klement was indicted for burglary of a building.
Lee Thomas Krause was indicted for credit/debit card abuse.
Jeremy Kyle Lackey was indicted for aggravated robbery.
Justin McCormick was indicted for theft of property, an amount between $1,500 and $20,000.
Steven C. Macias was indicted for assault on a public servant.
Shaunna Gehret Meredith was indicted for theft of service of an amount between $100,000 and $200,000.
Walter E. Osborne was indicted for assault of a public servant.
Venetta Marie Poe was indicted for assault with a deadly weapon.
Brandon Riley was indicted for forgery of a financial instrument.
Angela Leann Voyles was indicted for burglary of a habitation.
Sunny Chrisanne Blythe was indicted for burglary of a habitation.
Bethany Allison Meade was indicted for theft of property, an amount more than $1,500 (and with two previous convictions.
Christopher Brent Albro was indicted for burglary of a habtation.
