Gainesville —
The multi-agency Cooke In Education (CookeIE) program has a new meeting location for 2013, and another partnering agency, according to a media release.
CookeIE representatives proudly welcome Abigail’s Arms as a new partner in education, and upcoming meetings will be at Pecan Creek Village at 1100 Lawrence St. in Gainesville.
The meetings are held during the second Thursday of every month.
January’s topic will be “A New Year, A New You,” presented by Rhonda Mordecai, owner of Sole’renity Day Spa in Gainesville.
Mordecai will address the concepts of emotional, physical and spiritual wellness for the new year.
Cooke In Education, or COOKeIE, is an outreach program sponsored by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service of Cooke County, Texoma Council of Government’s Area Agency on Aging, Home Hospice of Cooke County, North Texas Medical Center and now Abigail’s Arms.
CookeIE programs are offered monthly and are free of charge. Topics include a wide range of subjects.
Refreshments of homemade cookies and drinks will be served during the January meeting.
For more information on this COOKeIE series, call (940) 665-2873, or (940) 668-5412.
