GHS vocalists named to honor choir

— Twelve Gainesville High School choir students recently auditioned for the Pioneer Regional Honors Choir. Ten students qualified and represented GHS. They worked with the clinician, Dr. Joni Jensen, and presented a concert with 100 other regional students at the Margo Jones Hall at Texas Woman’s University  in Denton. School officials said they are proud of their hardworking vocalists. The students are Heath Clark, Brady Chavez-Smith, Angela Garcia, Collin Izzo, Alondra Juarez, Kelli Martin, Selene Palomo, Carolina Puente, Mailyn Rocha and Yadira Vega.
