— Gainesville Fire Department Battalion Chief Shane Lee spoke to the Gainesville Rotary Club Wednesday about improvements the department has made in the area of water rescue as a result of a devastating flood in June, 2007. He described the department’s Swift Water Rescue team which was formed in late 2007 after a flood that resulted in three local deaths.
