The North Texas Medical Center Auxiliary is offering a wide variety of nuts and nut mixes to the public during the auxiliary’s annual sale set for 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday in the boardroom of North Texas Medical Center, 1900 Hospital Boulevard in Gainesville.
Products to be offered include peanuts (redskin, hot and spicy) cocktail, raw (perfect for candy making), Spanish, pecans (halves, milk), chocolate, white chocolate, sugar-free chocolate, praline frosted, cinnamon, honey-toasted, amaretto, chocolate toffee, cashews, walnuts, pistachios and almonds.
Also included in Friday’s offering will be a varied selection of nut mixes — ranging from “deluxe,” “California,” “hunter's,” “trash,” “fiesta,” “Southwestern,” “fruit” and “sweet.” Other popular products include dried apricots and sesame sticks.
Proceeds from the sale will go to further the auxiliary in its mission of support for the hospital and health career scholarships.
To fill the needs of holiday shoppers, the auxiliary will be also offering one pound tins and a variety of gift baskets, as well as taking special orders for November delivery.
