The North Texas Medical Center Auxiliary will once again offer a wide variety of nuts and nut mixes to the public during their annual sale set for 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday in the board room at North Texas Medical Center, 1900 Hospital Blvd. in Gainesville.
Among the products to be offered are peanuts (Redskin, hot and spicy, cocktail, raw (perfect for candy making), Spanish and chocolate; pecans (halves, milk chocolate, white chocolate, sugar-free chocolate, praline frosted, cinnamon, honey-toasted, amaretto and chocolate toffee; and cashews, walnuts, pistachios and almonds. Also included in the offering is a varied selection of nut mixes with flavors ranging among “deluxe,” “hunter's,” “trash,” “fiesta,” “southwestern,” “fruit” and “sweet.” Other popular products include dried apricots, “Cram Slam,” and sesame sticks. Proceeds from the sale will go to further the NTMC auxiliary in its mission of support for the hospital and health career scholarships. The auxiliary will be offering one-pound tins and a variety of gift baskets, as well as taking orders for November delivery.
