Faith Lutheran church invites everyone to join our worship services on Sunday morning at 10:15 AM.   Sunday School for children and youth and Bible Study for the adults will begin at 9:00 a.m.    Leading this group are John Morris, and Mark Lippe.   For those who wish to arrive at 8:45 a.m. there will be coffee and fellowship shared.  A nursery will be provided for all services.   If there is any way that Pastor Scott Sundbye or Faith Lutheran Church can serve you please let us know.  The Bible verse for the week is from 2 Chronicles 20:17 “You will not have to fight this battle.  Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you… Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged…the Lord will be with you.”  Do you know someone who would like to ride to church?  We can help.  It’s simple; just call the church at 668-7147 or Mischa Brown at 641-1231 before noon on the day prior to the day the ride is needed.  A carpool volunteer in your area will be contacted to make it happen.  We are excited for you to attend our services at Faith!  Please don’t let transportation difficulties keep you from joining us:  we would love to have your company and fellowship.

Whaley United Methodist Church

This week we will hear the familiar parable of the Good Samaritan.  The parable may be so familiar that we forget how shocking it was to Luke's readers.  No one would expect a Samaritan to stop and help a Jewish man.  The actions of the outsider Samaritan not only show love, but help to dispel stereotypes.  Join us for "Redefining Whaley" from Luke 10:25-37.

Our Celebration Worship service includes Kid Time and excellent music.

Vilott Baptist Church News

Our church building is on FM 678, but our church family is worldwide. The doors are open to receive all who want to worship and study.

Each Sunday morning we start with a fellowship breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Sunday school starts at 10 a.m. followed by the worship service at 11 a.m. with old time gospel music and singing praises unto the Lord.

We also have many prayer times; if you are in special need of prayer, let us know.

There is not one excuse for not praying. It does not matter how old you are nor feeble, you can pray. We have many prayer warriors in our church. We have seen so many healed of illnesses, jobs found, squabbles settled, and, most important, souls saved. There are several small groups that meet during the week for Bible studies and prayer.

Wednesday evening we start with a fellowship meal at 6 p.m. and there is something for all ages. At 7 p.m., the children have TeamKid, and time of training and Bible study. There are also Bible studies and prayer groups for the youth and adults. On Thursday mornings there is a small group meeting for fellowship and Bible studies at 10 a.m. followed with a meal

Call our pastor Rick Isham for counseling or need of prayers at 940-665-1629.
