Cooke County Attorney Ed Zielinski said his office is still investigating sexual assaults reported at Gainesville Independent School District last month.
There were two separate incidents of student sexual assault reported to the school district, according to Superintendent Jeff Brasher.
One of the reported sexual assaults occurred between two students on a bus while at an extracurricular activity. The other, according to Brasher, occurred between two students during school hours at the district’s alternative education campus on Radio Hill Road. Each of the alleged incidents involved one male and one female student.
An investigation was conducted by the Gainesville ISD Police Department and all of its findings were turned over to the Cooke County Attorney’s Office, Brasher said in a previous interview with the Register.
Zielinski said he could not go into details about the investigation because it involves minors.
“Information on minors is not subject to public information,” he said.
