Traveling storytime

Cooke County Library children’s coordinator Kimberly Reiter reads to children at Mrs. Terry’s Preschool in Lindsay on Thursday, Feb. 7. The library’s “123 the Story is Coming to Me” program kicked off its spring semester this week with Reiter visiting Tiny Trails Childcare Facility on Wednesday, Feb. 6, and Mrs. Terry’s Preschool. During this program Reiter talks about the library and reads interactive picture books to the kids. Each child is also given an age-appropriate book, special bookmark and a library brochure so they can share their library experience with their families. The “123...” program will visit 12 more preschools and childcare facilities this semester, according to Reiter.
