Denison held off a late rally by the Gainesville Lady Leopards Tuesday night to escape with a 40-37 win. Gainesville trailed by six at halftime but could not complete the comeback.

The Lady Leopards were led by Ariannah Kemp with 13 and Destini Flowers with nine. Kiarah Manuel had seven and Zhanice Lane tossed in four. Brittany Royal added two.

The Lindsay Lady Knights dropped a tough game with Decatur on Tuesday night, 54-36.

Sydney Ott led the way with 18. Megan Caillier finished with six points, seven assists and four steals.

Allison Pagel led the way with 15 and Lauren Rhomer added nine. Emily Hellman and Lana Heers each had six.

David Moore led the way with 19 points and six rebounds. Denzel Johnson had 11 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Johnathan Mendez finished with 11 points and three assists. D.J. Harris had nine points and nine rebounds.
