Gainesville's David Moore was selected to play in the Oil Bowl all-star game.

Gainesville's David Moore has been selected to play in the Oil Bowl Classic all-star football game.

The game, which is held in Wichita Falls, will be held Saturday night at Memorial Stadium with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m.

Moore excelled as a wide receiver, cornerback and punt returner for the Leopards as Gainesville enjoyed its best season since 2005.

Moore had 700 yards receiving on 40 catches to go with 10 touchdowns as a senior. He will continue his football career at East Central Texas University.

Moore will play for the East Texas team as they take on all-stars from West Texas.

Also of note playing in the Oil Bowl will be Whitesboro defensive tackle Kyle Lester. Whitesboro coaches Eddie Gill and Tody Sluder will coach for the East Team.
