The Lindsay Lady Knights held a tri-squad match Tuesday afternoon and evening, splitting matches with Paradise and Texoma Christian.

The Lady Knights defeated Paradise 25-21, 19-25, 25-23, 25-11 while falling in five games to Texoma Christian 25-7, 23-25, 16-25, 25-23, 15-11.

Lindsay (5-5) was two points away from taking the match from Texoma Christian in the fourth game, but allowed their opponent to score a flurry of points to force a fifth game.

For Lindsay in both matches, Jordan Fleitman led the team with 18 kills and eight blocks while Lucinda Krahl had 26 assists, 12 digs, four blocks, three kills and three aces.

Also contributing were Taylor Atkins with 13 aces, 11 digs and 10 kills, Katie Arendt who had 16 digs and five aces, Jalyn Anderle who finished with 14 digs, 11 kills, 11 blocks and 10 aces and Kendall McLeod had 18 assists and seven digs.

Allison Metzler scored eight kills, Katie Nortman had 16 digs and Erin Copeland recorded seven digs.

Callisburg sweeps Lady Pirates

The Callisburg Lady Cats easily handled their match with the Collinsville Lady Pirates at home Tuesday, winning 25-4, 25-17, 25-7.

Leading the way for Callisburg (4-2) were Karley Rohrbough with 12 kills and Taylor Coleman with 11 digs.

Stats for Collinsville were not available by press time.

Next up for Callisburg will be a road game at Gainesville at 5 p.m. Friday. Collinsville will travel to S&S for a 5 p.m. start Friday.

Decatur trips up Whitesboro

DECATUR — The Whitesboro Lady Cats were swept Tuesday by the Decatur Lady Eagles, 25-14, 25-15, 25-22.

Kortni Dickson, Ashley Kirby and Courtney Davis each finished with five kills, Rachel Urban had 20 digs, Becca Mock had nine assists, eight digs and one ace while Katelyn Labhart finished with 14 digs, two kills and an ace.
