The Lindsay Knights advanced to the consolation championship game in the NCTC Holiday Classic after defeating the Gainesville JV, 60-47 on Wednesday. Gainesville led at the half 22-20 but the Knights rallied to victory in the second half.
Lindsay was led by Conner Fuhrmann with 26 and Garrett Yancey with 13. Dean Fleitman finished with nine. Dawson Holt and Lyndon Cook each scored four. Jace Wann added three and Drew Cooney had one.
Gainesville was led by Jacob Royal with 12 and Lilton Moore with 10. Landon Bond added nine and Demarius Farr scored six. Jordan Hall tossed in five. Kisean Jackson finished with three and Ashton Neu tossed in two.
Callisburg runs past the Tigers
Callisburg will battle Lindsay in the consolation championship game at the NCTC Holiday Classic after a 57-26 win over the Sacred Heart Tigers.
The Wildcats were led by Colton Holder with 25 and Brandon Lile with 14. Andrew Dickerson finished with five. Cole Westcoat and Peyton Ing each had four. Andy Guiterrez added three and Issac Andrews tossed in two.
Sacred Heart was led by Austin Aldridge with eight and John Paul Hesse with six. Hayden Schilling and Michael Weinzapfel both added four. Isac Walterscheid and Keith Metzler both finished with two.
