Make that 10 straight victories for the Lindsay volleyball team.
The Lady Knights continued to play some of its best volleyball Tuesday night, sweeping Forestburg in three sets at home.
LHS (26-7, 8-0) had little trouble with FHS in the victory, winning by more than 10 points per set. Lindsay took the opener 25-15, built on its lead with a 25-13 win and clinched the match victory in convincing fashion, beating the Lady Horns 25-16 in the third set.
Nicole Fleitman continued her strong play around the net for Lindsay, leading the team with 24 kills along with 14 digs, four blocks and five aces.
Tara Atkins thrived at helping set up her teammates once again, finishing with 37 assists, two aces and two kills.
Jalyn Anderle brought a balanced attack for Lindsay, notching nine kills, seven digs and five aces. Scout Tatum also finished with seven digs for the Lady Knights.
Briley Fleitman earned four kills and three digs, Erin Early added eight digs, four kills and two aces and Elizabeth Hellman notched a pair of blocks for the Lady Knights.
Lindsay has given its opponents fits consistently during its 10-game winning streak, as the Lady Knights have not dropped a set in eight matches. That lost set came during LHS’ last matchup with Forestburg, a 3-1 win on Sept. 13.
The Lady Knights will try to continue their winning streak Friday when they travel to face Collinsville at 4 p.m..
