Sacred Heart’s Tigerettes ran their season record to 16-2 with a 46-19 victory over Era, in a non-district basketball game, Tuesday in Era.

In the boys game, the Hornets took a hard fought 50-48 victory.

“The girls continue to improve but we also understand that we are not where we need to be at this time,” Coach Jon LeBrasseur said. “ We have played many games in the past three weeks and we need to get back in to the gym. The practice games are about over and we begin district Jan. 3. I am hopeful the days before district we can improve our individual skills.”

The Sacred Heart coach said the boys game was a great game to watch. “Two evenly matched squads,” LeBrasseur said. “It was fun game for both teams. The execution down the stretch was the key to the game.”
